Steps to Get Started

Step 1 – Identify a small group of interested parents, administrators, and school staff.

Step 2 – Create a mission statement

Step 3 – Develop a curriculum for 1 or 2 grades. Start small and add more each year.

Step 4 – Partner with your PTO for support, volunteers, and funds. Create a PTO
committee to sustain the program from year to year.
